Saskia started her Apprenticeship at a dying Winter Covenant in the Rhine Tribunal: Commune Priscus. Her first Parens, then her second, and then her third all died or passed into Twilight before she passed her Gauntlet.
Priscus itself came under considerable suspicion and was believed to have foundered when the Redcaps failed to find it. At that time it was not certain if it had fallen apart leaving no significant trace, or disappeared in some more mysterious fashion, so a Report was commissioned by the Quaesitores.
When Maga Saskia showed up in Normandy, at Objurgator (home of most of the Normandy Tribunal's Quaesitores), much excitement was generated, leading to the writing of an Addendum to the original report.
Finally, with doubt cast upon the validity of her Gauntlet, and her Hermetic Status, Maga Saskia publicly peformed one of the variant Gauntlets used by House Bjornaer to demonstrate spell-casting ability. This is recorded as an additional Appendix to the Addendum.
